[We're no longer allowed to thread them being anywhere that isn't public and broad daylight. FROM NOW ON THEY'RE MEETING EXCLUSIVELY AT TAKA'S BAKERY.

The easy confidence warms him, though--it's not like he'd thought Wei Wuxian wouldn't support him, but it always stirs his heart, every reminder that Wei Wuxian's support and loyalty is a solid, sure thing. He pauses to turn his face towards Wei Wuxian's hand, but the kiss he presses to his thumb is chaste, thank god.]

Not yet. [The question of what he's going to do once he finds them is difficult to answer without knowing their identities. Also, while Lan Wangji doesn't have the experience of Wei "TRY AND CATCH ME NOW, COPS" Wuxian in this world, he's self-aware enough to know that his conversational skills are... lacking. He'd love to believe that the Maou are hapless victims of circumstance, eager to prevent calamity, but he's not that naive. There's no guarantee they'll want to speak to him if they're found, and even if they do, the chances of Lan Wangji failing to secure their assistance is... nonzero, let's put it that way.

That's getting ahead of himself, though. He needs to find them, first.]

I visited Puji shrine, earlier. Xie Lian is willing to offer his assistance. [Which, by extension, probably means that Hua Cheng will be roped in. A good start, but not much of one.] He suggested beginning with confidants. But I do not know how to proceed, after.

[LAN WANGJI ONLY HAS LIKE FIVE FRIENDS, PLEASE HELP HIM.]
